Katie attended college at Portland State University and was part of an apprenticeship program through the San Francisco JATC. Having previously worked in the San Francisco Building & Construction Trades, Katie worked on some of the largest construction projects in San Francisco, and is now able to bring a unique understanding of management and efficiency to the team. She believes in direct communication, and working most effectively as a team, or a “well-oiled machine” as she likes to say. A Bay Area native and currently living in San Francisco, Katie is passionate about collecting and growing rare tropical plants. In her free time, she enjoys quality time with family and friends and trying every new recipe from the New York Times Food section.
